Just an FYI those of you who get the Northwest Signal watch this weeks paper for a feature on the girls. They came out last week and wanted to interview us after we submitted their birth announcement.  We had to send in a picture so these are the new photos we took.  Hope you enjoy.  For those of you who do not get the northwest check back and I will post on my facebook account when it is in the paper!!

2 months old

On the 19, the girls were two months old.  Wow so much has went on in that two months.  Who would have thought.  The girls are doing great.  They just need to keep gaining weight. They are starting to eat like little piggys now.  Mia weighed 4# 8oz, Brynn weighed 4# 3 oz, and Adrie weighed 4# 5oz.  They will be getting weighed today when the nurse comes to visit.  We have visiting nurses come twice a week to check on the girls. It is a lot nicer than traveling to the doctor every week. Here are some pictures of the girls.

If you haven't heard we now have three new renters in the Gyurasics' household. Ok well they haven't paid their rent yet but I have a feeling we will be forking out a  lot of money for them in the next 30 yrs :)..We were discharged from the NICU last night.  It was so sad to leave all of the nurses we had made such great friends with.  We waited for Nurse Amanda to come in for shift change so we could say good bye since she was our night nurse most every night she worked (I think every night she worked). When we left all the staff clapped and said good bye both Mommy and Daddy got a little choked up at that. We both felt like we were leaving our family..we did spend the last seven weeks with them.  We are going to miss all the nurses, NNPs, Drs, and staff that we made friends with and got to know the girls really well.  Here are some pictures of our last day and us leaving the hospital. We are very happy to be home!!! Big sister Addie is doing great.  She is guarding their area like it is her job.  We even had all four of them crying last night.  Addie whines if the girls cry, she doesn't like that she can't fix it.  She is a good big sis.

The "H" word

                                                                 Mia
                                                                           Mia
                                                                      Mia
                                                                        Brynn
Adrie

The "H" word has been throw around a few times with Miss Mia (HOME).  They are thinking she will probably been able to go home sometime this week.  She has her feeding tube out and she is in an open crib with a HUGS tag on so she doesn't crawl away (right Uncle Jeff- inside joke). Brynn and Adrie are still in their incubators but are not far behind Mia.  All are taking bottles Mia all feeding, and the other two most of their feedings. We don't like to talk about the "H" word because every time we do there is a set back.  So Adrie the other day had to be tipped three times for a Barium Enema.  She had to have it to r/o Hirshsprungs Disease (which as most of you know the Gyurasics' Family did not want her to have as we have dealt with this in the past with Baby Remi).  Mommy was in a panic when she heard that word as a diagnosis.  They had to do the BE twice and the first time the tip came out, so she was tipped a total of three times.  For those of you who have never had or heard of a BE, it is a Xray exam where Barium is injected into the colon thru a cath in the rectum.. the doctor watches the barium go up through the colon. Now I am sure all of you are squeezing your butt checks together in pain, now image you are a 6 week old preemie and have to do it three times!!!! OUCH!!!!! Mommy was like just get it over.  Thankfully the techs were nice and let me stay in the room while they were doing the exam and Adrie handled it like a champ.  Thankfully the test was normal after three tips, several xrays, and two attempts at a BE.  Mommy and Adrie both needed a nap.We were in xray for 4 hours and Mommy didn't even get paid.  Mia has had minimal blood in her bowel movements which means her fissure is healing YEAH!! Brynn is just hanging out letting her sisters get all the attention from the doctors.  She doesn't want any part of what her sisters have had to go through. Mia had her hearing tested and she can hear.  Every time she heard the tone she raised her hand!! LOL. She is so smart. :)
