Christmas 2013

The girls got lots of stuff this year. They had a blast opening gifts. They really enjoyed it. So much that they started opening gifts that weren't theirs. They got new bikes and a Dinosaur train. They love the show Dinosaur Train on PBS, we watch it everyday!!!(at least twice)!! The girls got so much stuff that we need to clean out their old stuff to make room for the new. They got to play in the snow too. 

 

Nov '13

Well sorry I haven't posted lately. The girls are doing good. Lala has moved to a day bed because she was climbing out of her crib. The other two will be close behind but I don't think I can deal with all of them out at once. Momma needs her sleep. We are getting very excited for the upcoming holiday season! We went to visit Santa and of course no one liked him!! But they loved all the games and activities at bass pro! The girls are also excited to see their new cousin Reed (my brother new baby). We will be attending the big triplets basketball games this winter so we look forward to seeing you all. Also thx to Shelby for the great family pix. Even though the girls didn't want their pix taken.

Wow the girls are two!! I can't believe it. We have been very busy so sorry that this post is late.  The girls birthday theme was Minnie Mouse.  They had Minnie dresses and Minnie coupe cars and the whole nine yards!!  They had a great time.  The girls cousins were in town from Djibouti Africa and we got to spend time with them swimming and playing.  I think Oliver still might be having nightmares of me coming to get him after he squirted me with the squirt gun :) On the girls actual birthday we went to Notre Dame to visit the campus (the girls first trip out of the womb).  The girls dr visit went well.  They weigh around 21-22# and are 31-32 inches tall. We are working on going on the potty.  Mia and Adrie have both actually went on the potty.  Brynn just sits there.  We are looking forward to everyone staying healthy and watching many sporting events this fall. Well it has been a crazy month of firsts.  We took our first trip to Cedar Point and played in Snoopy land and even got to meet Snoopy.  They rode lots of rides and cried at first but then cried when they had to get off of them.  Aunt Amanda and Uncle Jason hung out with us the entire day! We had a blast.  Also that same weekend we took our first tubing ride on the Maumee.  Dad, Mom and Reese each held a girl in the three person tube.  The girls likes it.  I can see three river rats in their futures. Also we took our first family vacation to Myrtle Beach! We had a great time playing in the sand, the ocean, and in the pool.  We even got to visit with my great aunt Phyllis.  We miss her very much. I think she had as much fun playing with the girls as they did playing with her! We drove so the car ride down was an experience (right Hannah and Sam).  Thankfully we took help along. Thanks so much to Hannah and Sam for going with us and helping with the girls.  Also before we left for our family vacation the girls all got haircuts (Thanks Denise Mohler for squeezing us in for vacation).  Everyone did good but Lulu did the best, she was the only one that sat in the chair and didn't need mommy to hold her.  That is the reason I only have a picture of her getting her hair cut.  Their birthday is right around the corner and I am not ready for  it.  Lots of planning to do.

The girls just turned 22 mons!! Wow that was fast. It was the first time I went far away from them.  In the beginning of June I went to Seattle for work!! That was very hard to do.  Very thankful  for Facetime as I was able to talk and see the girls almost everyday!! Also Joe surprised me and brought the girls to the airport when I landed!  I was so glad to see them! The next week Joe left to go to Tulsa, OK.  The girls were so confused on why their parents were leaving them LOL. The girls also got a early bday gift from Nana and Papa, a huge playhouse!! They love it. The girls are saying everything now and repeat everything as well. Working on our please and thank you.  They are getting better.

Sorry I've been behind!! I'll try and get caught up today!  Well the girls are climbing all over everything!! They are saying more words like up. all done, bath, and really understand what is going on. We started using the carts at Walmart for three kids.  They love it!! We don't get stop nearly as much in the Walmart cart compared to when we have the triplet stroller. The girls also love going to sporting events and playing outside.

Well the girls are growing really fast now. They weigh around 20 pounds now actually Lele is over 20#. The nice weather has taken us outside and the girls love it. They are learning to ride their four wheelers and we got them two bike trailers. We took them for a ride Sunday and they loved it. I think Lele even fell asleep in it. The worst part was the wind on the ride home. It was quite a workout for mom and dad. We are looking forward to swimming this summer and our trip to Myrtle Beach!
Lele has had a rough time with injuries. She fell and hit her nose and it bled all over. Also she fell out side and hit her lip and again bled all over. Poor girl. But that is what you get when you are fearless.

Well the girls are not feeling very well right now. They all have runny noses and coughes.  We went to the dr on Friday for a well check which ended up being a sick check but she said they looked good that it was probably just teething related.  I just want it to end.  Poor Lala has it the worst.  Well the girls weigh right around 20 pounds and are getting ready to move into 18 mon clothes.  I just sold a lot of stuff at our Mom of Twins/Multiples CLub Sale so that paid for their clothes!! The girls love to climb. We went to the indoor play area at a church in Archbold.  The girls loved it. They could climb and I didn't have to worry because it was all padded. I also caught them (well two of them Lala and Lele) climbing up their recliners onto the end tables to dance and play with the light switches and fan controls.  OH MY!!! The fun is beginning. Guess who is who in the pics..it's getting harder and harder to tell!!.. OH and remember April 21 is the March of Dimes in Toledo. Here are some videos I found of the girls right after they were born...ok remember I just had TRIPLETS so don't mind the crazy lady talking.. I was on alot of drugs!!!  Just watching them makes me want to cry.  They were so little and we are so blessed that they are all fine today!! Praise the Lord!! God is amazing!!

18 Mons

The girls are 18 mons.  Everyone is finally walking on their own!! Actually they are running every which way!! On their 18 mon bday Lala weighed 19 lbs even and was 29 1/4 inches. Lele was 19 lbs 9 oz and was 29 3/8 inches, and Lulu was 19 lbs 5 1/2 oz and 29 1/2 inches.  They are getting so big so fast.  New words now include Nana, Papa, Mommy, Daddy, up, uppy, out, more.  They are definitely telling us if they want more or not with head shaking.  We had a rough month last month we had to say our see you later to the girls' great grams. But we know she is watching over us now.  Joe and I also took our first trip (long distance) for a long week without the girls.. we went to Florida. That was very hard to do but with the wonderful advancements in technology we were able to Face Time with the girls everyday so it was like we were never gone ;)  The girls liked it so much that we are now Face Timing our cousin/Aunt Bean in AZ!!  Down fall is the girls think every phone call now they can see the other person in the phone??!!!  We went to gymnastics and the girls love it. Their favorite part was the trampoline. Lulu is starting to get another tooth so total is seven, the other two have six total teeth each.  We can't wait for summer we are going to be starting swimming lessons soon.
